Since completing Carol Pearson's postgraduate certification program in Transformational Leadership at Georgetown University in 2003, Cindy has worked extensively with Dr. Pearson's tools. Dr. Patricia Adson is a licensed psychologist, coach, and author who specializes in the application of Carol Pearson’s work to the fields of psychotherapy and life coaching. She has written two books based on Dr. Pearson’s work, Depth Coaching and Finding Your Own True North, and wrote the “Archetypes in Everyday Life” column for Dr. Pearson’s Personal Mastery Coaching newsletter. Adson is an external mentor coach for the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara, CA, and a recipient of its Excellence in Coaching Award. She combines Dr. Pearson’s conceptual vocabulary of archetypes and the Hero’s Journey with Hudson’s focus on adult development to coach individuals who want to go beyond performance goals to discover richer and more fulfilling lives. Judy Brown - Leadership Development
Judy Brown is an educator, speaker, poet, and writer whose work revolves around themes of leadership, change, learning, reflection, dialogue, creativity, diversity, and renewal. Dr. Brown teaches leadership for the public good to graduate students in the School of Public Policy at the University of Maryland. Her particular passion is the design and facilitation of innovative executive programs, many of which include segments on "The Leadership Power of Story," informed by Carol Pearson's work on the application of archetypes to organizational life. Currently, she is part of a Fetzer Institute project on leadership for transformation that will culminate in two companion books, one on transformational thinking edited by Dr. Pearson and another on transformational practice edited by Dr. Brown.
