The primary tools used in CASA interventions, in addition to Myers–Briggs type theory‚ include the following archetypal models created by Carol S. Pearson and her associates:

  • A six–archetype model described in The Hero Within: Six Archetypes We Live By, developed particularly for individual‚ leadership‚ and character development in schools and colleges. A good introduction to key ideas.

The Pearson-Marr Archetype Indicator™ (PMAI™) instrument, co-authored by Hugh Marr, is the currently available personal archetype assessment tool.
  • A twelve–archetype system for meaning management‚ branding‚ and organizational development‚ described in The Hero and the Outlaw: Building Extraordinary Brands Through the Power of Archetypes‚ co–authored by Margaret Mark‚ and Mapping the Organizational Psyche‚ co–authored by John Corlett (CAPT 2003).

Organizational archetype measurement tools include the Organizational and Team Culture Indicator™ instrument. See below for details.
